Zero Waste - No Nasties - Gorgeous Hair

Tips for using shampoo bars: Wet your hair and rub the bar over the hair to create a creamy lather. You will need to use plenty of water. If you feel there isn’t enough lather, just add more water! Some people like to use a diluted cider vinegar as a conditioning rinse. Put a splash of vinegar in a jug of water and use it after rinsing all of the shampoo out of your hair. As you pour it over your hair you will notice how your hair becomes immediately soft and silky. Then do a final rinse. Avoid contact with eyes as it will sting. If you get it in your eyes rinse with plenty of water.

Good to know: If you are using an all-natural shampoo bar for the first time, it may take some time for your hair and scalp to get used to it as it goes through a period of “detox”. It takes a while for the chemicals that have built up on your hair to be washed out and your scalp may also take some time to get back to producing its natural amount of sebum again. During this time your hair may feel “gunky”, greasy, dull or drier than usual. Please persevere – it’ll be worth it! Please be aware that not all shampoo bars are natural. Most of the round discs made with little noodles may contain chemicals (e.g. SLS) which are found in many liquid shampoos and not only terrible for you, but also the aquatic system.

    Great Shampoo

Best shampoo ever. Easy on your hair and scalp. Cleans and smells great. The bar lasts a long time and is very concentrated so you don't need much to get a great lather. It leaves your hair squeaky clean.

    Wild nettle shampoo bar.

I have been using other brands of shampoo soap bars in the past and have to say the Highland shampoo brand is by far the best in my opinion. I just love the seaweed shampoo bar. It’s rich creamy lather and amazing smell. My hair definitely feels better for it. Definitely impressed and have since ordered more of the same and the raspberry one too. Great service and easy online ordering.

    fantastic

wonderful natural shampoo bar. I have been on a long journey to find another shampoo bar which is truly natural after my original bars were no longer available. I finally found them with the highland soap company and it' so great to be back using something i know is completely natural.

Smells okay, lathers well. Hair feels fine. Hopefully will last and not become slippy.

    Loving these

Since I picked these up from a distillery in Scotland I have not showered with anything but. They are great and last long but then again I am a bloke with short hair so what do I know. I regularly get these and the soaps for bodywashn once every few months and haven’t looked back to shower gels since
