About this experience
Join our botanically-inspired soap-making workshop to create your own bespoke fragranced soaps with essential oils and organic ingredients.
Learn how to hand-make soaps in the small-batch way we practice at The Highland Soap Company and leave with confidence in your ability to master the art of soap making - and with the products you made yourself!
Itinerary (2hrs approximately):
- An hour soap-making workshop. Choose your favourite fragrances, colours and botanicals
- A coffee in our Larder Café while your soaps are setting
- Package up your soaps ready to take home to keep for yourself or give as a handmade gift
16+ or 8+ when accompanied by a paying adult. Max 4 people per workshop. Dates are added approximately 4-6 weeks in advance.
All timings are approximate depending on how many are booked on to the workshop and setting times for soap.

To avoid disappointment, please pre-book for a class, we cannot guarantee that we can run a class if you turn up on the day. We hold the workshops around the production times, as we are a working factory.

This was one of the highlights of our recent holiday. We had booked the experience before our holiday and we all looked forward to attending. We were not disappointed. The session was very professionally run and safety aspects were evident throughout. The support from Teeny our soap expert was great, she was patient and provided clear instructions on what we needed to do. Overall a really, really excellent experience.
A lovely morning making soap with choice of fragranced essential oils . The brunch (a special) ordered in the café while waiting for the soap to set was delicious.
My daughter and I drove down to the studio and shop. We had a lovely time making our soaps, our guide was very informative and a good selection of colours, scents and botanicals to choose from. Highly recommend this experience and plan to return next year.

The four of us had an immensely enjoyable time. Teeny was very attentive and provided first hand guidance with clear instructions for us to follow. She saw to our varying abilities with tact; contributing greatly to our sense of achievement and fun.
